Clint and Ellen are packed and ready to go.
Their journey down the dirt roads of Meto, Kenya will begin May 27 as they fly to Africa, ready to start a nine-week journey. The pair reflected this week about how they have known for some time they would go to Meto as long-term missionaries.
At their wedding a prophetic word was given. Someone saw them one day ministering down a dirt road.
“We knew exactly what that meant,” said Ellen. “We just laughed because we both knew that was Meto.”
The majority of their funds have been raised because of your generosity — something they knew was possible, but weren’t sure how it would all come together.
God was faithful in preparing them fully for their journey, bringing the funds from different places and blessing them with supportive friends and family. As a result the couple said they are overwhelmed with how God provided.
In the weeks leading up to their departure, they have studied the Maasai culture and the language. Part of their mission will be to study traditions of those they are ministering with, which will enable them to be ambassadors for future Integrity Worldwide trips. With new knowledge, they can share with future groups about the needs and desires of our friends in Meto as we continue to partner with them in spreading the gospel.
